OPERATIONAL RULES

Confirm Buying Intent Before the Final Stage

An opportunity may not advance to the final pipeline stage until the buyer has taken an observable action that signals intent to purchase - such as requesting a quote, asking for a contract to review, or initiating procurement. Intent cannot be inferred from seller optimism, a verbal expression of interest, or the passage of time. The observation must be recorded in the CRM.
