Three reports must be possible in real time from the platform's own reporting: conversion between pipeline stages, the overall win and loss rate, and a revenue forecast.
These three answer the only questions a sales manager repeatedly needs: where opportunities die, how often you win, and what is coming. Stage conversion is the one that tells you where the problem is rather than that there is one.
It is also the one that separates the field furthest. Nineteen of the twenty-four platforms assessed here depart from a clean pass and six fail outright, and the recurring reason is arithmetic rather than data: where a platform's own report builder offers only sum, count, average, minimum and maximum, no rate can be built however much stage history the product stores.
That is worth checking before you buy, because it is invisible in a demo. A chart of opportunities won set beside opportunities lost looks like a win rate and is not one.
Three reports must be possible in real time from the platform's own reporting: conversion between pipeline stages, an overall win and loss rate, and a revenue forecast.
All three is Yes. Exactly two is Partial. Fewer than two fails.
A distribution is not a rate. A count or value of opportunities sitting in each stage, a funnel plotting counts by stage, time in stage, and the share of all losses attributed to each stage are distributions. The measure must express what proportion of records moved from one stage to the next.
A count is not a rate either. A chart showing the count of opportunities won beside the count of opportunities lost is not a win rate. That report needs a stated proportion - won over closed, or won over all created.
A report the buyer builds counts, because reports have to be customised to a company's own configuration in any case. But the builder must be able to express the measure, and the platform must hold the underlying data: no stage-transition history means no stage conversion rate, no first-class expected close date means no forecast, and a date field the buyer created is not first-class.
Native reporting only. A BI tool connected by API does not count toward the gate, and neither does anything sitting in a paid add-on beyond the core product.
No verdict. A revenue projection is documented: the opportunity carries a first-class estimated close date with its own edit command, the opportunity graph plots forecasted and closed sales across a chosen date range by value or quantity, and an Opportunities Adjusted for Probability report gives the probability-weighted totals. The other two could not be settled, because Act!'s current knowledge base could not be read. The reachable help - a mirror of an older web-edition help set - describes opportunity reports in count and value terms only, lists the report designer's summary calculations as count, total, average, minimum and maximum with no percentage or ratio, and describes the opportunity pipeline as the number of open opportunities at each stage, which is a distribution. That points toward absence but rests on superseded documentation, so the dimension is recorded as unverified and counts toward neither a pass nor a failure.

Two of the three required reports exist natively. The Deal Overview report gives won ratio by count and by value across closed deals, which is the overall win and loss rate, and the Deal Forecast report projects the pipeline on a daily, weekly or monthly cycle driven by the first-class Forecasted Close Date field on the deal. Stage-to-stage conversion is the gap: the five shipped CRM reports cover deal overview, sales performance, deal forecast, tasks and sales engagement, none of which report conversion between stages, and the custom reporting measure list carries deal counts, values, days to win and days to loss but no stage transition or stage conversion measure. Stage is available only as a dimension for slicing, and custom report data is refreshed once a day rather than in real time.

None of the three is available as a rate. Stage movement is recorded rather than measured: the Sales Stage History report returns the stage an opportunity moved from, the stage it moved to and the transition period taken, and the Sales Pipeline report charts opportunity amount or count by sales stage, which is a distribution. Win and loss are likewise counts - the Opportunities Won by Month or Sales Rep report returns opportunities in the Closed Won stage over a date range, with an equivalent lost report beside it, and a count of won set against a count of lost is not a win rate. Neither gap can be closed in the report builder, because the Intelligence Dashboard builds summary tables that sum or count opportunity amounts and no percentage, ratio or formula measure is documented. A forecast report is not documented at all: the standard report list contains none, opportunity amount is either manual or rolled up from items with no probability weighting, and the Open Opportunities by Month report groups by creation date rather than by close date. The opportunity does carry a first-class Close Date field, so the data for a forecast exists even though the measure does not.
Two of the three required reports exist natively. Stage-to-stage conversion is served by the Funnel report, whose Funnel Steps display gives the conversion percentage between each selected status, calculated as records reaching or surpassing a stage divided by records reaching or surpassing the previous one. Overall win rate is served by the same report type in its Funnel Metric display, which the vendor's own sales dashboard guide configures as a win rate showing the conversion percentage from all records to Won. Revenue forecasting is not present: Attio documents five report types - Insight, Historical values, Funnel, Time in stage and Stage changed - none of which is a forecast, and the standard deal object ships no expected close date attribute for a forecast to be driven from. An Insight report can sum a currency attribute grouped by a date attribute, so a buyer who creates their own projected close date attribute can approximate a pipeline-by-period view, but there is no native forecast construct.

Reporting is a dashboard the buyer builds from three component types - charts, KPIs and target meters. Charts are built on a module and an optional related module, with a measure on the Y axis, a grouping and criteria filters, across nine chart types including a funnel. Because Stage, Amount and Closing Date are default pipeline record fields, a funnel grouped by stage and a chart of amount grouped by closing date are both constructible, and a Stage History related module lets charts analyse how long records sat in each stage. What is missing is computation. The vendor documents no percentage, ratio or conversion measure, so stage conversion and overall win rate can only be read off record counts rather than produced as rates, and neither is therefore available. No forecasting feature, weighted projection or win probability appears anywhere in Bigin's documentation, including its AI material, so at most a chart of amount by closing date stands in for a forecast. Nothing purpose-built for any of the three ships; the buyer assembles charts in a general dashboard builder.
One of the three exists, and the rule requires two. Each pipeline stage carries a manually set percentage representing the chance of closing, and the vendor states that these feed a forecasted revenue figure, so a weighted-pipeline forecast is computed by the product rather than assembled outside it - although it runs on manual stage probabilities rather than on an expected close date, and no expected close date field exists on the deal. The other two are absent. The seven documented pipeline analytics blocks - Pipeline Activity, Pipeline vs Closed, Created Leads, Average Deal Value Won, Deal Lost or Closed Value, Pipeline Generated, and Deals Created, Won and Lost - are overviews, volumes and values, none expressed as a rate, so there is no overall win or loss rate and no stage-to-stage conversion measure. A vendor product page markets win rate reporting, which no help article supports. Activity logs cannot be exported and the analytics module is described by the vendor as still in beta.

Two of the three are native dashboards. Conversion Rate gives the percentage of opportunities won out of all won and lost opportunities, over 30, 90 and 365 days. Pipeline Forecast projects value and count month by month from the opportunity's expected close date and value, weighted by the milestone probability, and expected close date is a first-class opportunity field the API exposes alongside probability and milestone. Stage conversion is the gap. Leaking Pipeline shows the percentage and number of opportunities lost at each milestone, but the vendor never states the denominator, so whether that percentage is a share of all losses or a loss rate against the opportunities that reached the milestone is unresolved, and a share of all losses is a distribution. No other report states the proportion advancing from one milestone to the next: the milestone reports are pipeline by milestone, by owner and by team, average time to won, won and lost over time, lost by reason, pipeline growth, average sales value and pipeline by tag, all counts, values or durations. The vendor does not state a refresh cadence.
The Opportunity Funnels report shows the conversion rate between each pair of adjacent pipeline stages, and separately a Win Rate computed as won opportunities divided by won plus lost. It can be read by count, by annualised value or by weighted annualised value. For forecasting, the opportunity carries a first-class Estimated Close date, and Expected Value is defined by the vendor as value multiplied by confidence and described as a weighted pipeline value used for forecasting revenue. The Pipeline View can be set to show expected values, totals update per status column, and it can be filtered by the expected close date, which produces a projected revenue figure for a chosen period. There is no separately named forecast report; the projection is produced within the pipeline view.
Two of the three required reports are native. Overall win and loss rate is available as the custom report metrics Opp Record Count Win Rate % and Opp Value Win Rate %, supported by won, lost and open counts and values, and by a Sales by Owner view showing win rate per teammate. Forecasting is native through the Pipeline Projection Total and Pipeline Projection Weighted reports, which group open opportunities by expected close date and weight value by the win probability attached to the stage. Stage-to-stage conversion rate is the gap: the pipeline summary reports show value, count and average days per stage rather than the proportion advancing, the days-in-stage custom report covers duration only, and requests for a funnel conversion report appear as open questions in the vendor community. A Looker Studio connector exists for reporting outside the product, which does not count towards this dimension.

One of the three exists, and the rule requires two. Native reporting is a dashboard builder pointed at a deal group, offering bar, grouped bar, stacked bar and pie charts and metric cards with count, sum, average and ratio formulas. Of the three required reports only an overall conversion rate is documented, and the vendor's own suggested version computes it from a user-defined status field rather than from a platform-level won and lost state, so the buyer creates both the field and the measure. No stage-to-stage conversion report is documented. No forecast or projected revenue chart is documented, and there is no first-class expected close date field for one to run on - the deal template supplies a Closed at date, which records when a deal actually closed rather than when it is expected to. The vendor also states that all charts display all-time data, so there is no period-scoped view of the numbers.
Two of the three required reports are documented natively. Overall win/loss rate is a built-in dashboard widget ("Deal win/loss percentage", plus deal success rates and revenue won and lost). Forecast is a curated report and a Sales Forecast dashboard driven by the first-class Expected close date field, with quota, commit, best-case and hierarchy roll-up views. Stage-to-stage conversion rate is the gap: analytics offer a "Deal stage movement" metric and a sample Deal Funnel report that show deal counts progressing through each stage, but the vendor documentation does not describe a conversion percentage between adjacent stages, and a vendor community thread on measuring funnel conversion rates was answered with a manual custom-report workaround rather than a built-in metric.
All three ship inside the product. Stage conversion: the prebuilt deal funnel report in the sales analytics suite outputs conversion rates alongside the count of deals in each stage, the number of stage skips and time spent per stage, and the custom funnel report builder takes deals and deal stages as a source; the underlying data is held, because default deal properties timestamp entry to and exit from each stage. One documented caveat: a deal that skips a stage is excluded from that stage pair's calculation, so accuracy depends on reps working the pipeline in sequence. Overall conversion: the sales velocity report is documented as showing the percentage of deals that become closed won, which is a stated rate rather than a count, with a companion deals won and lost report supplying the underlying counts by user or team. Forecast: Close date is a default deal property defined as the date a deal is expected to close, feeding both a dedicated forecast tool that projects revenue from deal amount and stage probability and several prebuilt forecast reports. None of this is a separate add-on or an external BI connection.

Two of the three required reports are documented natively. Overall win rate ships as a Win Rate card on the standard Opportunities dashboard. Forecasting is supported by a first-class Forecast Close Date field plus an Expected Revenue field, calculated as opportunity value multiplied by probability, which can be summarised in opportunity reports and appears as a Sales Pipeline Weighted card. Stage-to-stage conversion rate is not documented: the pipeline funnel card plots a count of records per stage, and the Opportunity Stage Duration report measures time spent in each stage, neither of which is a conversion rate between stages.
No verdict. The vendor describes native visual pipeline analytics covering deal conversions by stage, average deal duration, average time in stage and deal revenue forecasting, filtered by sales representative, status and date closed, and the knowledge base carries an article titled pipeline reporting and analytics. Those claims appear only in product announcements and a solutions page, which are not product documentation and cannot support a verdict on their own. The knowledge base article itself could not be retrieved: the former help site redirects to the vendor's new help centre, where the article does not appear. An overall win against loss rate is not named in any source found. On the evidence reachable the dimension can be neither confirmed nor ruled out, so it is recorded as unverified and counts toward neither a pass nor a failure.
Two of the three are available, and the one that is missing is missing because the data is not kept. Forecasting is shipped and purpose-built, rolling opportunity revenue into periods by a chosen date column - Est. Close Date on the opportunity in the shipped configuration - against a user or territory hierarchy and a quota, updating in near real time. An overall win rate is reachable but assembled: the shipped Deals Won vs. Deals Lost chart and the forecast grid's Won and Lost columns give counts rather than a proportion, so the buyer builds the rate, either as a 100% stacked column chart of opportunity count by status over a closed-opportunity view, where the won segment is read as a percentage of the category total, or as an average rollup column over a simple formula column that scores each opportunity 100 when won and 0 when lost, filtered to closed. Conversion between pipeline stages is not available at all. A business process flow instance stores the current active stage plus a comma-delimited text string of visited stage IDs, which no native aggregate can decompose, and there is no shipped stage-history table; the shipped funnel plots estimated revenue by pipeline phase, which is a distribution. The Power BI template apps that carried process analytics were withdrawn in May 2025 and would not count in any case.

Two of the three required reports are documented. Overall conversion is covered: the Funnel Chart widget plots a status column against a numbers column and calculates the transitions between stage labels, stated in the documentation as the conversion percentage of a deal from New to Won, and the Leaderboard widget repeats that conversion percentage per representative. Forecast is covered: the Forecasting View projects revenue for a defined period against a target, broken down by deal stage and owner, and the Deals board ships a Forecast Value formula column of deal value multiplied by close probability. Stage-to-stage conversion is the gap - the funnel documentation describes transitions between labels but never states an adjacent-stage conversion rate as an output, and the Deal Stages widget reports time spent at each stage rather than conversion out of it. Everything here is a native dashboard or board view rather than an external BI connection.
Two of the three are documented in the knowledge base. Stage conversion is covered by the Pipeline Funnel widget, which the vendor documents as graphing how well deals convert between stages and as displaying deal count and conversion percentage, so a rate rather than a distribution is a stated output; note that its population is deals won or lost with a close date in the period, so it is built from closed deals rather than from open pipeline. Forecasting is covered by the Revenue Forecast widget, projecting from open and won deals against a first-class expected close date field on the deal, with a per-stage default probability configured on the pipeline - although the vendor does not state that the projection is weighted by it. An overall win rate is not documented: the deals widgets are Revenue Forecast, Pipeline Funnel, Deals Won Over Time, Deals Progress, Lost by Stage, Deals Lost by Reasons, Upcoming Deals and Revenue By Pipeline, with average duration per stage and average deal value in the reports tab, none of which expresses won as a proportion of closed. Reporting is a fixed widget set chosen from a list and filtered, not a builder, so the buyer cannot construct the missing rate.

All three reports exist natively. The Funnel report reports lead progression through pipeline stages and shows the number, value and percentage of leads that advanced past each stage, and the number, value and percentage won, lost or cancelled from within each stage. Win rate is a calculated metric available in custom reports alongside total and average lead value and average time open, and also appears by channel in the Attribution report. The Forecast report projects sales to date plus open pipeline against quota, driven by the lead's expected close date field and optionally weighted by confidence. Custom reports update in real time as leads change.

All three are named report types in the vendor's own reporting. The deal conversion report has two variants: a funnel variant the vendor describes as showing the conversion rate between pipeline stages, each column a stage with the percentage of deals that reached it, and a win/loss variant showing overall win and loss rates for deals marked won against lost. Because won deals are counted as having completed every stage and lost deals as having stopped where they stopped, the funnel measure reflects progression history rather than a distribution of open deals across stages, and the separate deal progress report, which segments by stage entered, confirms stage-entry data is stored. The revenue forecast report projects from the expected close date on open deals, measured by deal value, weighted value or a custom monetary field, alongside a built-in forecast view running on the same first-class field. All three are purpose-named parts of Pipedrive's own reporting rather than assembled from general-purpose components or supplied by an external BI tool.

One of the three exists, and the rule requires two. A revenue projection is available: Opportunity Estimated Close is a first-class, mandatory opportunity field, the standard Sales Pipeline reports for this month and next month run on it, and the report builder totals values over a filtered set, so a period-scoped projection of open opportunity value is buildable natively. The other two are absent. Despite its name, the Close Rate dashboard tile is a doughnut chart aggregating opportunity counts by outcome into positive, negative and neutral bands, and a count breakdown is not a win rate. No report is documented that states the proportion of opportunities advancing from one stage to the next; what exists is distributional - open opportunities by status, the Kanban views, and a current pipeline gauge broken down by likelihood band. Neither gap can be closed in the builder, whose summary options are total, minimum, maximum, average and unique values plus a record count, with no percentage, ratio or formula measure; percentages that appear in reports are pre-built stored fields. The documentation's stated route to anything further is export to an external BI tool, which does not count.

All three are reachable from native reporting and forecasting, and two of them are reports the buyer assembles rather than canned metrics - which the platform supports, because the report builder can express a ratio and the data is captured. Stage conversion: the standard Opportunity History report type exposes From Stage and To Stage with timestamps, so stage transitions are held as rows, and custom summary formulas can express one group against another. Win rate: Salesforce documents building it in the report builder with custom summary formulas, WON:SUM over CLOSED:SUM for a rate against closed deals or WON:SUM over RowCount against all created deals. Forecast: Collaborative Forecasts ships as a purpose-built feature, rolling opportunity Amount up by period and forecast category on the first-class Close Date field, with alternative measures and date fields configurable per forecast type. Base Sales Cloud ships no packaged stage conversion dashboard - the standard reports are distributions and the funnel component has no conversion setting; the packaged Sales Stage Analysis Conversion dashboard sits inside the Revenue Intelligence add-on and is not counted here.
One of the three exists, and the rule requires two. Reports are widgets on an in-app dashboard reached from the pipeline menu, distinct from Streak's pipeline export. Close Rate calculates the percentage of boxes won out of all boxes, with a value-weighted variant, and that is a stated rate. The other two fail. A stage-to-stage conversion rate is not documented: the funnel report shows where boxes drop off and how many made it from one stage to the next, which is a count, and Stage Flow, Stage Entrances and Exits and Time in Stage report movement, volume and duration rather than a percentage; a vendor blog article does describe a percentage converted from each previous stage, but that claim appears in no knowledge base article. The forecast fails on the underlying data rather than on the report: Projected Close Value projects revenue from close dates held in a pipeline column, but the only columns present in every pipeline are Name, Stage, Assigned To, Contacts and Organisations, and Notes, so the expected close date column is created by the buyer and there is no first-class expected close date field. The value column and the Won stage are buyer-created on the same footing, and no lost status exists.

No verdict. Forecasting is native and first class: the Forecast and Quota module holds sales targets for a team and for each member across a month, quarter or year, and four forecast categories roll deals up by sales stage, with per-category adjustments a manager can amend. A Reports module produces detail, summary and pivot reports and charts, and any chart or pivot report can be pinned to a dashboard for real-time viewing. The other two cannot be settled. No supplied stage conversion rate or overall win rate report is evidenced in the documentation reachable, and the Insights FAQ set - the one place such a report would be described - could not be retrieved, so their absence cannot be established either. With one dimension confirmed and two unresolvable, the dimension is recorded as unverified and counts toward neither a pass nor a failure.

All three are available inside Zoho CRM itself, and the measure that supplies two of them is a dashboard component built for the purpose. The Stage component analyses the flow of records across the values of a picklist field with field history tracking enabled, selecting a pipeline on the Deals module; its basic staircase view reports, per stage, the number of records entering, the number of conversions to the next stage, the conversion rate, direct wins, direct drop-outs, and an overall win rate. That covers stage conversion and overall conversion as stated rates rather than as counts. Forecasting is its own module, projecting on revenue or deal number against monthly or quarterly targets, with period membership governed by the standard Closing Date field on the Deal and forecast categories derived from stage-probability mapping. Two things elsewhere do not qualify and are not counted: the Funnel component documents only the five funnel styles and a number format, with no conversion output, and the report builder's functions are sum, average, largest, lowest and record count, with no ratio.
